Miss Jamie from American Ballet theater came to bring a taste of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker Suite to the Speed Cars. A big part of this experience was being immersed in Tchaikovsky’s rousing and evocative ballet score and being in the presence of a real ballerina.

Miss Jamie demonstrated how to isolate body parts to carry out elements of the choreography. Each child got a chance to perform a solo and be part of a group dance.
