Barrow Street’s Scholarship Program allows us to offer access to an economically diverse community.
We are proud of this program, and know that parents and children benefit greatly from this commitment. We take pride in serving a community that reflects a multitude of backgrounds and experiences.
Financial Aid Awards are “need-based” only. Eligibility is determined by Barrow Street in conjunction with the School and Student Service for Financial Aid (SSS). Children currently receive awards ranging from approximately 10% to 99% of tuition, depending on each family’s demonstrated level of financial need. Scholarships are awarded each year to approximately 15% of students.
Admissions decisions are made without regard to whether a family has submitted an application for Financial Aid. However, acceptance to Barrow Street does not guarantee the School’s ability to meet the financial needs of every candidate.
Parent(s)/Guardian(s) interested in applying for financial aid must submit a Parents’ Financial Statement (PFS) to the School and Student Service for Financial Aid (SSS) in addition to the required tax materials listed below. SSS analyzes a family’s financial information to determine how much they can afford to pay towards tuition. Barrow Street is subsequently provided with the results of this analysis.
