A few weeks ago, our early drop-off friends noticed Kim getting ready for an exciting project with the 4s/5s — glue suncatchers! In true Silver Room fashion, they passionately advocated for themselves and asked Kim to come show us how to do this amazing experiment! This morning, the time finally came for Kim’s visit, and for the Silver Room to step into our new role as Super Scientists!
Before we began, we talked about how working like a scientist is different than other times of our day/play. Kim specifically focused on making a hypothesis, and working slowly and carefully vs. fast fast fast!
We will keep you posted on how these turn out — it will take about a week for them to dry! In the meantime, what’s your hypothesis: Will these be white when they dry? Or clear?
