This week, the Super Lollipops took our first of four visits to the Hudson Park Library! We were the first to arrive at the library for the day, and got to ring the doorbell to be let in early!
Once inside, we were greeted by Kristy the Librarian who told us about her friend Mr. Roger’s. While eat bagels, we learned more about what it’s like to work in a pizzeria, and took a trip to the Neighborhood of Make Believe!
After our adventure, we went into the main library. Kristy read us a book, and then gave us the honor of taking the Librarian’s Oath, an NYPL tradition dating back to 1906! Soon, the Super Lollipops were official NYPL members! They enjoyed all the children’s section had to offer.
We celebrated with a trip to James J. Walker Park!
