Since returning from break, the Rainbow Sprinkles have shown a truly insatiable interest in writing, drawing, and letter identification. We’ve supported this in many different ways: learning letter sounds through Sounds in Motion, playing more literacy games, and introducing a word wall to practice writing each other’s names.
Today, they got to test out a brand new tool that will become part of our arrival routine: sign-in cards! Every day, each child will either trace or write their name and place it in the “all done” box. We look forward to sharing how their writing skills develop in the coming weeks!
